This bulletin is being revised to change the correction information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 02-08-44-022A (Section 08 -- Body and Accessories).
Some customers may comment on consistent static noise heard in the radio speakers. This noise is very low and repeats about every 30 seconds. It can only be heard when radio is off and vehicle is running.
To greatly reduce the noise, install a capacitor into the rear differential clutch check valve circuit using the procedure listed below.
Important: The capacitor must be installed with the negative side pointing toward the rear differential actuator.
