Purpose / Overview
Occasionally there is a need for the GM Service Technical College (STC) to announce additional in-dealership divisional Service Training Standard (STS) requirements to enable the technician to be better positioned to assist a customer, should the need arise, on a new focused technology or emerging issue. For 2007, three Technology Close-Up (TCU) courses have been identified that meet that need of urgent and focused attention. These courses are on the STS report within the appropriate service category based on the topic of training.
Important: Service technicians must obtain management approval prior to enrolling in a course.
