The 1984 Oldsmobile Labor Time Guide is being released in microfiche format. The operations and time allowances are effective on repair orders beginning September 22, 1983. The Labor Time Guide is also available in printed format, from LANSING LITHOGRAPHERS, INC., P.O. Box 14067, Lansing, MI 48901, for $24.00 each.
The microfiche format contains the entire 1984 Labor Time Guide on a single fiche for access to all operations. The fiche also contains illustrations of paint, moldings, emission devices and the "Request for Review" form.
An illustration of the "Request for Review" form is included on the microfiche for reproduction by the dealer. For those dealers who do not have reader-printers, the "Request for Review" form is available from the Zone Office by requesting Form Number 730 Olds.
General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
