LOOSE BODY MOUNT CREAK NOISE INSTALL NEW LWR. INSULATOR

SUBJECT: LOOSE BODY MOUNTS OR BODY MOUNT CREAK NOISE (INSTALL NEW LOWER INSULATOR)

MODEL/YEARS: 1992 TORONADO/TROFEO

Some 1992 Toronados/Trofeos may exhibit a body mount creak noise when going over bumps. This condition may be due to one or more of the body mounts being mispositioned in the frame. This condition can be corrected by installing a new lower insulator. Make certain the lower insulator is fully inserted into the frame and properly stacked before torquing the bolt (103N.m/76 lbs. ft.). Refer to the 1992 Toronado/Trofeo Service Manual pages 10-3-4 and 10-3-5 for proper service procedures.

NOTE: Do not lubricate lower insulator when reinstalling into frame.
