Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1785991 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  2. Remove the I/P center speaker cover. Front Upper Speaker Replacement.
  3. Gently pry up on the ambient light sensor to remove it.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector.
  2. Insert and press the ambient light sensor into position in the dash.
  3. Install the I/P center speaker cover. Refer to Front Upper Speaker Replacement.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
