Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement C100/Long Body

1. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.
2. Remove the power steering fluid return cooling pipe bracket securing bolts near the center of the impact bar, if equipped.
3. Remove the bolts and the front bumper impact bar.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




1. Install the front bumper impact bar with the bolts and tighten the bolts to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).
2. Install the power steering fluid return coolant pipe bracket securing bolts, if equipped, and tighten to 10 N·m (7 lb ft).
3. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.

Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement C105/Short Body

1. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.
2. Remove the bolts from the front end panel bracket.
3. Remove the bolts and the front bumper impact bar.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




1. Install the front bumper impact bar with the bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the impact bar bolts to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).

2. Install the bolts to the front panel bracket.

Tighten
Tighten the front panel bracket bolts to 220 N·m (16 lb ft).

3. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.
