Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1819546 Size: SH
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  3. Remove the nut and clips.
  4. Remove the engine protection shield.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1819546 Size: SH
  1. Install the engine protection shield with the nut and clips. Tighten the engine front shield nut to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
  2. Install the front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  3. Lower the vehicle.
