Tools Required

J 26610 (KM-J-22610) Installer

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the outer tie rod. Refer to Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod Replacement.



3. Remove the dust boot outer retaining clamps.
4. Cut and remove the dust boot inner retaining clamps.
5. Remove the dust boot.

1. Install the dust boot.
2. Install the dust boot outer retaining clamp.
3. Install the dust boot inner retaining clamp with the J 26610 (KM-J-22610).
4. Install the outer tie rod. Refer to Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod Replacement.
5. Lower the vehicle.
