Door / Hood Paint Damaged Potential Interference Between Hood And Doors - keywords close front

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Currently, there is a condition for potential interference between the hood and the doors. When either door is in the 1st open detent and the hood is over slammed, the hood could potentially make contact with the doors, causing paint damage. This situation will not occur if the doors are fully opened or fully closed.

To help avoid hood and door damage, close both doors before closing the hood.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
