Caution: Refer to Brake Dust Caution in the Preface section. Notice: Support the brake caliper with heavy mechanic wire, or equivalent, whenever it is separated from its mount and the hydraulic flexible brake hose is still connected. Failure to support the caliper in this manner will cause the flexible brake hose to bear the weight of the caliper, which may cause damage to the brake hose and in turn may cause a brake fluid leak. 4 | Front Brake Caliper Upper Guide Pin Seal ProcedureEnsure the lip of the seal is fully seated in the groove of the guide pin. |
5 | Front Brake Caliper Lower Guide Pin ProcedureApply a light coating of high temperature silicone brake lubricant to the guide pin, the bushing and in the bore for the of the bracket. |
6 | Front Brake Caliper Guide Pin Seal (Qty: 2) ProcedureApply a light coating of high temperature silicone brake lubricant to the inside of the seals before installing the seals to the bracket. |
