Condition
Some customers may comment that the convertible top front center latch appears to be bent or is difficult to latch.
Cause
This condition may be caused by the latch not being released to it "full open" position when the top is stowed in the trunk. During the closing process, if the latch is not in the "full open" position with the top stowed in the trunk, the deck lid stiffener could contact the latch and bend the top latch.

Correction
Use pliers and reposition the latch so it is straight.
