Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1829473 Size: SH
  1. Remove the charge air cooler inlet pipe. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement.
  2. Remove the charge air cooler outlet pipe. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Pipe Replacement.
  3. Remove the front radiator air deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Lower Baffle and Deflector Replacement.
  4. Remove the front bumper fascia air deflector. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Replacement.
  5. Remove the charge air cooler bolts.
  6. Remove the charge air cooler.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1829473 Size: SH
  1. Install the charge air cooler.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the charge air cooler bolts and tighten to 9 N·m (80 lb in).
  3. Install the front bumper fascia air deflector. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Replacement.
  4. Install the front radiator air deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Lower Baffle and Deflector Replacement.
  5. Install the charge air cooler outlet pipe. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Pipe Replacement.
  6. Install the charge air cooler inlet pipe. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement.
