Preliminary Procedure

Remove the rear fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement.

Rear Compartment Lid Torque Rod

Procedure

1. Use tool J 39384-10 Torsion Rod Adjustment Bar.
2. Install torque rods with rear compartment lid closed.
3. Engage the ends of the torque rods into the cam link.
4. Open deck lid and engage the fixed end into the hinges.
