Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the battery negative terminal connection. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
3. If equipped, remove the fuel tank protector. Refer to Fuel Tank Protector Replacement

Tip
Purge any residual fuel in XX into an approved container prior to use.

Fuel Tank Filler Hose Retainer

Procedure

1. Release the retainer (Qty: 1).
2. Pull the fuel tank filler hose away from the fuel tank.
3. Pull the fuel tank filler hose breather hose away from the fuel tank.
