Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection. Remove the engine shield. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement. Release the electrical connector.
1	Crankshaft Position Sensor Fastener Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 15 N·m (11 lb ft)
2	Crankshaft Position Sensor

Component Name

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
Remove the engine shield. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement.
Release the electrical connector.

Crankshaft Position Sensor Fastener

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
15 N·m (11 lb ft)
