Preliminary Procedures

1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling.
2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement.
3. Detach the charge air cooler outlet pipe for access. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe and Outlet Pipe Replacement.
4. Remove engine control module from battery tray.

8 N·m(71 lb in)
