Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the timing belt upper front cover. Refer to Timing Belt Upper Front Cover Replacement.
2. Remove the timing belt center front cover. Refer to Timing Belt Center Front Cover Replacement.
3. Remove the timing belt lower front cover. Refer to Timing Belt Lower Front Cover Replacement.

Timing Belt Tensioner

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tip
Move the timing belt tensioner counterclockwise to lose the belt.

Tighten
