EN-6623 Installer

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools.

1. Position the new seal ring.

•	Position the seal ring in such a way that the pulse pick-up bracket is over the corresponding cut-out on the cylinder block.

Note: Do not press in the seal ring all the way.

•	Slide the seal ring over the crankshaft. Push, until the seal ring is flush and sits evenly in the cylinder block.

2. Using the EN-6623 installer , install the seal ring (1).

•	Tighten the 3 bolts (2).

•	Press the seal ring all the way in.

•	Install the bolt (3).

3. Remove the EN-6623 installer .
4. Remove the 3 bolts.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

5. Install the crankshaft pulse pick-up to the pulse pick-up bracket and tighten the bolt to  5N·m (44 lb in).
6. Place the encoder on the crankshaft.
