EN 49424 Remover/Installer Ignition Module

1. Insert a NEW gasket in the camshaft cover.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




2. Install the camshaft cover (1) and the 11 bolts (2, 3) and tighten to  8 N·m (71 lb in).




Note: When installing a new ignition coil, it is not necessary to replace the gaskets.

3. Replace the gaskets (2) from the ignition coil (1).



4. Using the EN 49424 remover/installer  (1), install the ignition coil (2).
5. Remove the EN 49424 remover/installer .

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

6. Install the 2 bolts and tighten to  8 N·m (71 lb in).
