    Note: Consider the appropriate screwing on points for the EN-49428-5.

  1. Install lateral took up EN-49428-5 (1) for EN-49428-4 at assembly fixture.

  3. Install the EN-49428-4 (1).

  5. In order to guarantee that the holders can be installed perfectly, the spark plug threads must cleaned from combustion residues. For this purpose insert the thread tap M14 x 1.25 (1) into the spark plug thread and pivot evenly.
  6. Turn the cylinder head baseplate.
  7. Note: There are 2 kinds of counter holder. Type A and type B. Choose the correct type for the existing combustion chamber.

  8. Install the counter holder.

    Note: Depending upon the combustion chamber organization, it must be used different holders to protect the valves.

  14. Install the counter holder EN-49593 (1) fixing tool . Fasten the EN-49428-3 (3) Mounting Equipment with safety lock pins. Screw the fixing screws (2). Turn the cylinder head baseplate again.

  16. That no special tools are damaged at the later disassembly of the valve wedges, the valve retainers are to release with EN-49426 (1) release tool . Put the EN-49426 release tool on the valve retainers and with a short impact of a rubber hammer all valve retainers will loose (setting behavior).

    Note: In order to ensure that neither tools or components are damaged, the depressing tool (1) must touched down parallel to the valve retainer. Select the appropriate thread in lever. If the depressing tool should not be able to touched down parallel, than the lever tool must adjusted accordingly.

  18. Use depressing tool (1) with lever. Execute low pressure to the valve retainers until they are exonerative. Infer the valve wedges (2).

  20. Infer the upper valve retainers and valve springs and place them in sequence on EN-49448 assembly tray .
  21. Release the valve stem sealings through srewing with EN-49446 (1) remover and take off from the valve guides.

  22. Infer lower valve retainers and / or valve srew device from the cylinder head and place them on EN-49448 (1) valve box .
  23. Remove lever tool.

    Turn cylinder head baseplate. Remove wooden board EN-49428 Mounting Equipment and / or counter holder.

    Infer all valves in sequence an place them on EN-49448 (1) assembly tray .
