For 1990-2009 cars only
- Install the valve lifter roller (2) on the top of the valve stem and on the lash adjuster (1).
- Lubricate the roller followers (2). Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers for the recommended lubricant.
Note: Used roller followers MUST be returned to their original position on the camshaft. If the camshaft is being replaced, the roller followers actuated by the camshaft must also be replaced.
