Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the right driveshaft. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side.
2. Drain the transmission from fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Check or Transmission Fluid Replacement.

Intermediate Shaft Flange Fastener (Qty: 3)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
22 N·m(16 lb ft)

Intermediate Shaft

Procedure

1. Insert intermediate shaft into the gearbox until 20 mm is left, Use protective collar to protect the sealing.
2. Refill transmission fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Check or Transmission Fluid Replacement.
