Note:
• Do not stroke/cycle the stationary hydraulic lash adjuster plunger without oil in the lower pressure chamber. • Do not allow the stationary hydraulic lash adjuster to tip over, plunger down, after the oil fill.
Remove the valve lifters from the cylinder head. If the lifters are to be reused, keep in order so they can be reinstalled in the same position.
