  1. Install the NEW oil filter adapter gasket (2).
  2. Install the oil filter adapter (3).

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the 6 oil filter adapter bolts (1) to the engine block and tighten to  23 N·m (17 lb ft).
