Special Tools

    • EN-45000 Remover
    • EN-47635 Installer
    • EN-41998-B Installer

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools.

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2020069 Size: MF
  2. Remove the crankshaft front oil seal (1) with EN-45000 remover (2).

Installation Procedure

Important: Do not lubricate the crankshaft front oil seal or the crankshaft balancer sealing surfaces.


    Object Number: 2020070 Size: MF
  1. Place the crankshaft front oil seal (1) on EN-47635 installer (2) and insert evenly in engine front cover.
  2. Install EN-41998-B installer (3, 4) into the crankshaft.
  3. Screw the nut (3) in until the crankshaft front oil seal is in full contact.
  4. Remove EN-41998-B installer and EN-47635 installer .
  5. Install the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Replacement.
