Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection. Remove the starter motor. Refer to Starter Replacement.
1	Crankshaft Position Sensor Fastener Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 10 N·m (89 lb in)
2	Crankshaft Position Sensor Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector.

Component Name

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
Remove the starter motor. Refer to Starter Replacement.

Crankshaft Position Sensor Fastener

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Crankshaft Position Sensor

Disconnect the electrical connector.
