Callout	Component Name
Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection. Remove the oil level indicator and tube.
1	Knock Sensor Fastener Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten X N·m (X lb in)
2	Knock Sensor Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector.

Component Name

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
Remove the oil level indicator and tube.

Knock Sensor Fastener

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
X N·m (X lb in)

Knock Sensor

Disconnect the electrical connector.
