Preliminary Procedures

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
2. Remove the front and rear side door sill trim plate. Refer to Front and Rear Side Door Sill Trim Plate Replacement.

Inflatable Restraint Rear Door Side Impact Sensor Fastener

Procedure

1. Release the fastener from the inflatable restraint rear side door impact sensor.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Inflatable Restraint Rear Side Door Impact Sensor

Procedure

Push the inflatable restraint rear side door impact sensor upwards and pull it from the B-pillar.
