| Brake Hose-To-Caliper Bolt Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Caution: Do not depress the brake pedal with the brake rotors and/or the brake drums removed, or with the brake calipers repositioned away from the brake rotors, or damage to the brake system may result. ProcedureRemove the bracket bolts from the steering gear knuckle. Tighten
| Brake Hose Fitting Gasket (Qty: 2) ProcedureDiscard the old gaskets and replace with NEW gaskets during installation.
| Front Brake Hose Tip | ||||||||
| Brake Caliper Guide Pin Bolt (Qty: 2) Procedure
Tighten | ||||||||
| Brake Caliper Warning: At times during this brake bleed procedure brake fluid will be under higher pressures than during typical brake bleed procedures. Ensure the bleeder hose attached to the bleeder valve is securely maintained in position whenever the bleeder valve is opened. Failure to maintain the bleeder hose securely to the valve when opened, may allow the hose to blow off and brake fluid to spray out of the bleeder valve, possibly resulting in personal injury. Warning: Remove all the air from the hydraulic brake system anytime the hydraulic brake system is opened for repair. The entire bleeding procedure must be followed. Failure to remove all the air in the hydraulic brake system will result in reduced braking performance and possible personal injury. ProcedureBleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding. |
