Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement V6

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement
  2. Remove as much power steering fluid from the remote power steering fluid reservoir as possible.
  3. Place drain pans under the vehicle.

Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Bolt (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
4 N·m (35 lb in)

Power Steering Fluid Reservoir

Caution: Refer to Using Proper Power Steering Fluid Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

  1. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding.
  2. Clean any excess power steering fluid from the vehicle.
