Note: Review the system operation in order to familiarize yourself with the system functions. Refer to Cooling System Description and Operation.

Visual/Physical Inspection

    â€¢ Inspect for aftermarket devices which could affect the operation of the Cooling System.
    â€¢ Inspect the easily accessible or visible system components for obvious damage or conditions which could cause the symptom.
    â€¢ Inspect the surge tank reservoir for the proper coolant level.

Intermittent

Faulty electrical connections or wiring may be the cause of intermittent conditions.

Refer to a symptom diagnostic procedure from the following list in order to diagnose the symptom:

    â€¢  Cooling Fan Always On
    â€¢  Cooling Fan Inoperative
    â€¢  Engine Overheating
    â€¢  Loss of Coolant
    â€¢  Thermostat Diagnosis
    â€¢  Engine Fails To Reach Normal Operating Temperature
