Preliminary Procedure

Remove the manual transmission shift lever cable from the shift control housing. Refer to Manual Transmission Shift Lever Cable Replacement.

Shift Control Housing Fastener (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
26 N·m(19 lb ft)

Procedure

1. Detach the cables from the shift linkage lever.
2. Remove the shift cables from the counterhold.
3. After installation, adjust the manual transmission shift lever cable. Refer to LINK.
