Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.
2. Remove the front bumper fascia center support bracket. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Center Support Bracket Replacement.
3. Remove the hood primary latch. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Replacement.
4. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
5. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
6. Remove the front end inflatable restraint discriminating sensor. Refer to Front End Inflatable Restraint Discriminating Sensor Replacement.
7. Remove the hood front bumper bracket. Refer to Hood Front Bumper Bracket Replacement.
