Heater Outlet Pipe Fastener (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
62 N·m (46 lb ft)

Heater Outlet Pipe

Tip
Do NOT remove the heater outlet pipe from the vehicle. Install a NEW O-ring.

Radiator Outlet Pipe

Tip
Do NOT remove the radiator outlet pipe from the vehicle. Install a NEW O-ring.

Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing

Procedure

1. Remove the engine coolant thermostat housing. Refer to Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Removal.
2. Install the engine coolant thermostat housing. Refer to Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Installation.

Preliminary Procedures

1. Raise the vehicle by its full height. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Draing the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling.
3. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor. Refer to Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement.
4. Release the radiator outlet hose. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement.
5. Release the radiator surge tank engine hose. Refer to XXX.
6. Release the heater outlet hose. Refer to Heater Outlet Hose Replacement.
7. Release the heater inlet hose. Refer to XXX.
8. Release the turbocharger coolant return pipe. Refer to XXX.
