The following service procedures require either a programming or a setup event performed for a complete repair.

If the liftgate control module is replaced, the following procedures must be performed.

Do not reprogram the liftgate control module unless directed by a service procedure or a service bulletin.

If the liftgate control module needs to be reprogrammed, refer to Service Programming System (SPS).

If any portion of the power liftgate assembly is replaced, repaired or disassembled, perform the liftgate calibration procedure. Refer to Liftgate Calibration Procedure.
