Preliminary Procedures

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.

Rear Suspension Upper Control Arm Inner Fastener

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

Torque on nut.

Tighten
150 N·m (111 lb ft)

Rear Suspension Link Outer Fastener

Procedure

1. Install NEW bolt.
2. Torque on nut.

Tighten
115 N·m (85 lb ft) + 90 degrees + 15 degrees

Rear Axle Upper Control Arm

Procedure

1. Remove cable harness clips from control arm.
2. Use a proper jack stand to load the knuckle when tightening the fasteners.
3. After installation, check the rear alignment. Refer to Wheel Alignment Measurement.
