Preliminary Procedure

Remove the differential carrier assembly. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement.

Differential Carrier Bushing - Rear (Qty: 2)

Procedure

1. Clean the bushing hole from paint and dirt before pressing out the bushing.
2. Fit CH-49158-1 presstool and CH-49158-2 presstool together with the hydraulic press tool.
3. Align the tools and press out the rubber bushing.
4. On installation grind away any residue from the old bushing with emery cloth.
5. Fit the rubber bushing in the housing and press the bushing into the housing with tool CH-49382-1 presstool and tool CH-49158-4 presstool together with the hydraulic tool. Align the tools and bushing accurately before pressing in the bushing.
