Preliminary Procedure

Remove the liftgate trim finish panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Finish Panel Replacement.

Liftgate Outside Handle Fastener (Oty: 4)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

Use a small flat-bladed tool to remove the liftgate outside handle fastener cover.

Tighten
2.5 N·m (22 lb in)

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Transfer components as necessary.
