Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Housing Replacement LDE/A16XER, 2H0/A18XER

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement.
  2. Remove the right rear wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

    4. Object Number: 2020140 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the fuel tank filler door lock actuator wiring harness electrical connector (1).
  5. Remove fuel tank filler pipe fastener (2).
  6. Remove the fuel tank filler pipe from fuel tank filler pipe housing.

    7. Object Number: 2020144 Size: MF
  7. Remove the fuel tank filler pipe housing (1) from the body side outer panel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2020144 Size: MF
  1. Insert the fuel tank filler pipe housing (1) to the body side outer panel.

    2. Object Number: 2020140 Size: SH
  2. Install the fuel tank filler pipe (3) at the fuel tank filler pipe housing.
  3. Install the fuel tank filler pipe fastener (2).
  4. Connect the fuel tank filler door lock actuator wiring harness electrical connector (1).
  5. Install the rear wheelhouse panel liner.
  6. Install the right rear wheel.
