Makes 🢒 Opel 🢒 1997 🢒 Sintra 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 3.1L and 3.4L 🢒 Camshaft Removal

  1. Remove the oil pump driven gear hold down clamp bolt.
  2. Remove the oil pump driven gear hold down clamp.
  3. Remove the oil pump driven gear assembly.

    4. Notice: All camshaft journals are the same diameter, so care must be used in removing or installing the camshaft to avoid damage to the camshaft bearings.

  4. Remove the camshaft thrust plate screws.
  5. Remove the camshaft thrust plate.

    6. Object Number: 55018 Size: SH
  6. Remove the camshaft. Use the following procedure to remove it:
    7. 6.1. Install a large screwdriver carefully in the camshaft bolt hole.
    6.2. Carefully rotate and pull the camshaft out of the camshaft bearings.
