Tools Required

1. Remove the brake apply cover bolts.
2. Remove the brake apply cover.



3. Compress the reverse brake piston using the J 41681 and the J 23327 .
4. Remove the snap ring.



5. Cover the reverse brake piston with a clean cloth.
6. Slowly apply low pressure compressed air to the fluid passage B (2) while holding the fluid passage A (1) closed until the following components are forced out of the transmission:

•	The outer reverse brake piston

•	The reaction sleeve

•	The inner reverse brake piston

7. Remove the piston O-ring seals.
