The frame (1) is a rubber-isolated sub-frame in the front of the vehicle. The frame supports the engine and the transaxle and provides the mounting point for the front suspension lower control arms. Any misalignment of the frame will cause a misalignment of the front wheels. Movement of the frame will usually cause an increase in caster on one side and a decrease in caster on the other.
Misalignment can cause the following:
• | Bind up the exhaust system |
• | Problems with the control cables |
• | Unacceptable noises and sounds |
Check for any obvious damage.
