| Resynchronize the
transmitters:
- Press and hold, for at least 7 seconds, both the LOCK and
the UNLOCK buttons on the keyless entry transmitter. Repeat this procedure
using the other transmitter.
- Remove the key from the ignition key cylinder lock.
- Disable the power sliding door (PSD) lockout switch. This switch
is located in the overhead console.
- Close all of the vehicle doors.
- While observing the door locks, press once on the LOCK button
on the keyless entry transmitter.
- While observing the door locks, press twice on the UNLOCK button
on the keyless entry transmitter.
- While observing the PSD, press once on the PSD open/close button
(if equipped) on the keyless entry transmitter.
- While observing the exterior lights and while listening to the
horn, press the alarm button (if equipped) on the keyless entry transmitter.
Does the keyless entry system operate the door locks and the optional
alarm?

- Remove the transmitter batteries.

- Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
- Reinstall all of the connectors/components that you removed.
- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position for 6 seconds.
- Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
- Remove the BCM PRGRM fuse.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ACC position. (The BCM sounds
the chime a number of times equivalent to the BCM type installed on the vehicle).
- Within 1 second, turn the ignition switch from the ACC
position, to the LOCK position, then back to the ACC position. (The BCM sounds
any DTCs stored).
