- Remove the key from the ignition key cylinder lock.
- Close all of the vehicle doors.
- While observing the door locks, press the unlock button on the
keyless entry transmitter.
- Observe the door locks for the following actions. The action depends
on the auto door lock mode:
• | The driver door unlocks. |
• | All of the doors unlock. |

- Turn off the IP dimmer switch off.
- Turn on the interior lights override switch enabling the interior
lights.
- Remove the key from the ignition switch.
- With the driver door open, press the lock on the door lock switch.
- Close all of the vehicle doors.
- Insert the key in the driver's door key cylinder lock.
- While observing the interior courtesy lights, turn the key and
keep the key in place for 1 second in order to unlock the driver door.
Do the interior courtesy lights turn on for 40 seconds upon unlocking
the door with the key?

- Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
- Connect all of the connectors.
- Install all of the components.
- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position for 6 seconds.
- Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
- Remove the BCM PRGRM fuse.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ACC position. (The BCM flashes
the fasten belts indicator and sounds the chime 4 times identifying
the BCM type installed on the vehicle.)
- Within one second, turn the ignition switch from the ACC position,
to the LOCK position, then back to the ACC position. (The BCM sounds any DTCs
stored.)
