Exterior windnoise will be louder with 1 or more
of the windows open. Windnoise is caused by air passing over the following
items:
Notice: If masking the grille or headlamp bezel areas, care must be taken not
to restrict airflow. Restricting airflow can cause vehicle overheating.
- Test drive the vehicle.
- Lower each window in order to determine the location of the windnoise.
- Stop the vehicle.
- Use a screwdriver or masking tape in order to temporarily repair
the following items:
- Tape over the gaps and moldings separately.
- Test drive the vehicle.
- Continue to tape over the gaps and moldings.
- The origin of the windnoise is located when the windnoise stops.
