Interior windnoise will not be heard with a lowered window.
Interior windnoise is caused by air leaving the inside of the vehicle through
a seal or a seam.
- Tape over the pressure
relief valves in order to increase the air pressure within the vehicle.
- Test drive the vehicle.
- Listen for windnoise whistle.
- Stop the vehicle.
- Use masking tape in order to make temporary repairs.
- If you are still unable to determine the source of the interior
windnoise, perform 1 or more of the following tests:
