LUGGAGE CARRIER NOISE 1984 'A' STATION WAGON

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1984 "A" Station Wagons

The cross members of the luggage carrier on the 'A' Car FWD Station Wagon can be installed incorrectly.

The correct installation is shown in the illustration. The blunt side of the cross members should face forward.

If these are incorrectly installed, there is a possibility of a howling noise at speeds over 45 mph.
