VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1982 - 1987 'A' and 'X'

Most service replacement gears for the vehicles listed above will now be remanufactured gears. They are remanufactured to the latest production specifications, and are extensively pre-tested to comply with original equipment standards, by an authorized General Motors supplier.

The remanufactured gears are acceptable for warranty repairs. Normal warranty procedures apply and the applicable labour time guide is to be used.
