ROOF DRIP CENTER MOLDING RETAINER CRACKING/BREAKING
This condition was repaired in production effective May 15, 1987 at the assembly plants by using an alternate material. Service repair consists of replacing the cracked/broken retainer with a revised molding retainer from service (GMSPO).
1. Remove screws from windshield pillar scalp molding (1) and slide downward and away from retainer (2) and drip scalp molding (3). See Illustration.
2. Remove roof drip scalp molding (3) by unsnapping it from scalp molding retainer (2).
3. Remove quarter window.
4. Remove screws along retainer (2) and disengage retainer from roll.
5. To install, reverse removal procedure and roll roof drip scalp molding upward onto retainer.
Remove and replace scalp molding: B7610 (Right Side) .4 Hours
B7620 (Left Side) .4 Hours Add: To remove and install retainer (each side) A19 1.5 Hours
