POWER STEERING PRESSURE HOSE ASSEMBLY LEAKAGE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1987 'A' MODELS WITH 2.5L L4 ------------------ ENGINE (VIN R)

Some 1987 "A" models with 2.5L L4 engine (VIN R) may experience a slight leakage from the power steering pressure hose connector assembly at the connection of the hose to the power steering pump.

If this condition is experienced on a vehicle with 2.5L - L4 engine (VIN R), replace the complete power steering pressure hose, following the proper service procedure as currently published in the vehicle Service Manual.

Relocation of the air conditioning switch assembly and associated wiring will be required. Refer to Figures 1 & 2.

Replace with service power steering hose assembly 26012610.
